Hello! We are Jared and Leslie Popplewell, AKA “Your Friends at Lake Cumberland”. We are excited to have you here and invite you to explore all of our properties! We live in the area along with our son, Kinnett, and daughter Lilly.
Growing up on Lake Cumberland, we have always had a love for lake life and our kiddos are no different. In 2016, we decided to align our love for travel and the lake and a new business blossomed… Lake Cumberland Vacation Rentals.
When we travel, we put a lot of time and energy into finding the right vacation home that not only suits the needs of our family but one that has the right vibe and all of the comforts of home. We will be the first to admit, we can be picky. How this translates for you, is that comfort, style, and cleanliness are our top priorities. We want you to walk into each property and feel like we have prepared it just for you. Jared, well he is the detail guy and you will most likely speak to him prior to arrival or during your stay.
We are local to the area and understand that when you are on vacation, we need to be available for anything that may arise so that you can relax and enjoy your family all while making memories at the lake.
We have a 5-star rating on VRBO and work hard to maintain that. We offer 4 beautiful properties just minutes from Jamestown Resort and Marina with a 5th property under construction. We have an exciting 5-year plan that will offer you and your family even more options.
